These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yorha (the "Platform"), operated by Yorha ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Yorha is a digital marketplace connecting African creators ("Authors") with readers ("Readers") for the sale and purchase of digital content, including eBooks, novels, manga, and manhwa ("Content"). We provide the platform, payment processing, and file delivery infrastructure. We are not the publisher of Author Content and do not create, edit, or endorse it.
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may hold both a Reader and an Author account under the same email address, but each requires separate registration and email verification. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
Authors retain ownership of the Content they upload. By uploading Content, you grant Yorha a license to host, display, distribute, and deliver that Content to purchasing Readers through the Platform. You represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or is subject to a valid infringement claim, and to suspend or terminate Author accounts for repeated violations.
All payments are processed through Paystack. Prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated. By purchasing Content, you agree to Paystack's applicable terms in addition to these Terms.
Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a purchase has been completed and Content has been made available to your account, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
Authors earn a share of each sale (commission model), credited to their in-platform balance. Payouts are processed manually once a minimum threshold of ₦5,000 is reached, subject to providing accurate bank account details. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect account information or third-party payment processor issues.
You agree not to: upload pirated or infringing Content; attempt to circumvent Content protection or download restrictions; use the Platform for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose; harass other users; or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
If you believe Content on Yorha infringes your copyright, contact us at ivnabin11@gmail.com with details of the work and the allegedly infringing Content. We will investigate and remove Content found to be infringing.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Authors with an unpaid balance must withdraw earnings before account deletion, as outlined in the deletion flow.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yorha and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, revenue, or access to purchased Content due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
